I'd especially like to hear from people who have played with this mod for a while.
I'm at around turn 70 in my Dwarf campaign with Grombrindal, first time I've used the overhaul or played Dwarfs.
So far it feels kind of like a mixed bag. While it is cool that the map seems more active than before, it also feels a lot more chaotic and over the top. Seems like everyone was throwing up multiple full stacks from the word go. Everything seems to be progressing MUCH faster now.
EDIT: Also, autoresolve seems really screwy. I've had battles that the balance bar tells me is literally 99%+ in my favor come out as close victories with me losing a ton of troops. High-tier troops, no less.
EDIT THE SECOND: I've had a bit more time to gather my thoughts, and I'm sort of torn as to whether or not use it for my Wood Elf campaign. I love the fact that the factions seem to be balanced out better, I mean for godssake this is the first time I've ever seen the empire actually be on even ground with Chaos. In both of my previous campaigns Archaon just shits right in the Empires mouth. What I'm not so sure I like is that the map feels so goddamn active it's honestly almost overwhelming.
What do you guys think? Pros/cons?
