How To Get To Searing Gorge From Badlands 4,2/5 5470 reviews
Is there a way from the under-city? I have no idea how to get there. I even trying going by mount and failed, because everything was walled off with mountains.
I get a quest for the searing gorge with no directions, nice.
The Searing Gorge is a contested zone in the Eastern Kingdoms for players in the 47-51 range. It is home to a group of exceptionally stout dwarves called the Thorium Brotherhood, who have split from the Dark Iron Clan.Except for them, the Dark Iron Clan have 2000+ dwarves in the gorge working on various things and also keeping a watching eye on the Thorium Brotherhood. How-To Travel The Burning Steppes Into The Badlands, How-To Get To The Burning Steppes From The Badlands, How To: How to get to the Burning Steppes from the Searing Gorge, the zone south of badlands east of the burning steppes., Dun morogh to Burning steppes (Wallwalking), south of badlands east of burning steps no farsight 3.1.3. Don't ride down the spine between Searing Gorge and Badlands without due care and attention, or you'll fall in this hole (10) and have to hearthstone it out! If you head west as far as you can, you'll find a place to drop down into Searing Gorge. Keep going west and stay as high up as you can to the north.
Which way have you been trying to go? I think you can access Searing Gorge from the Badlands just south of Kargath.
If you still need help reaching that zone, add me in game (Sakera#1543) and I will fly you.
As it is at the moment I am at Undercity about to map out an exact route so I can detail this post with it soon as I am finished.

Here is a path I just took myself. I hope this has helps you and I wish you the best of luck.
Fly or travel by land to the Bulwark & grab flight path if
you don't already have it.Keep going til you reach Andorhal.Continue through it and take the road over the bridge.Keep going through Sorrow Hill & keep to right side path. This will lead you to Chillwind Camp. **WARNING!! Alliance camp!**As you near Chillwind Camp, exit main road and keep to left so as not to trigger the guards.Continue past the camp into Hillsbrad Foothills.Head to Strahnbrad & grab flight path there.Keep going through Strahnbrad (keep to left) and past
the level 25 Ogres.Continue on to Tarren Mill & grab the flight path there.Get back on main road and head south toward Eastpoint Tower.Grab flight path at Eastpoint Tower and continue down road
towards Arathi Highlands.Cross through opening in Thoradin's Wall into Arathi
Highlands.Grab flight path at Galen's Fall.Get back on main road and head east until it cuts off to the south.Take south road towards Thandol Span and cross over into the Wetlands.**WARNING!! Alliance camp!**As you cross into the Wetlands, keep to your left so as not to trigger the guards.Continue following the road south until you reach a
crossroads.Take the left path and head towards Loch Modan. You will cross into multiple tunnel paths, starting at Dun
Algaz, continue through.**WARNING!!** You may encounter a few level 25 Alliance NPCs on your way thru.**WARNING!! Alliance camp!**As you exit the last tunnel, you will now be in Loch Modan,
which is Alliance territory.Exit main road & keep left so as not to trigger guards.Once past that area, continue following main road.**WARNING!! Alliance camp!**You will now be near Thelsamar. Exit main road & keep right so as not to trigger guards.Once past that area, continue following main road.Go through Valley of Kings. At end of Valley you will see another tunnel passage. At entrance will be a level 44 Alliance NPC & maybe a level 25 Alliance NPC as well.Continue into tunnel, which will phase you into Searing Gorge & dephase NPCs.The tunnel is really long, but upon exit you will now be in Dustfire Valley. Now you can continue on to where you are set to start
questing.Look for ? marker on map.Be sure to always grab any and all flight paths you
encounter so as to make it easier to travel the next time.
There's a tunnel there from the southwestern part of Loch Modan if you can avoid the Dwarf guards. Getting to Loch Modan involves riding through Arathi Highlands, down across the bridge into Wetlands, and then you have to take a series of tunnels up through the mountains, avoiding Dwarf guards the whole way through. Otherwise, you go west from Badlands.
I'm kind of forgetting how you get to Badlands initially as Horde. I think there was a quest that sent you Fuselight by rocket if you'd loremastered out Eastern Plaguelands, but that's no good if you're just trying to jump in. You'd probably still have to ride to Loch Modan, and instead of taking the Searing Gorge tunnel, you'd ride to the chasm between Southeastern Loch Modan and Northern Badlands, and there's a couple of ramps you can use to ride down into the pit and back out.
Assuming you do not have the flight paths unlocked: Travel to Arathi Highlands from Hillsbrad Foothills. Stay on the road, cross the Thandol Span into Wetlands. Take a left at the T, follow the road south and into the tunnels through Dun Algaz and into Loch Modan. Keep going south until you pass Thesalmar, then cut eastward along the hills to the south of Thesalmar till you reach the former shore of the Loch, and resume southward until you get to the chasm.
There will be a path down to the floor of the chasm and one going back up into the Badlands. You will pass the Uldaman complex.
Here, it's recommended you turn eastward at the first chance and follow the lights up to Fuselight to pick up the flight point. Once you've done so, return down the hill, turn south again and pick up the flight point at Bloodwatcher Point (on the southside of the partially excavated ruins). Pick your way westward now toward New Kargath. Here you'll have the Scar of the Worldbreaker as an obstacle. Pick up the flight point in New Kargath, then wrap around to the southside the hill the city sits on and head west into the Searing Gorge.
Your quest turn in will be at Thorium Advance just down the hill from where you entered the zone.
Fair warning: You're likely to have to fight your way through the Badlands.

Indeed, there is a tunnel from Loch Modan to Searing Gorge, but iirc, it's locked until you complete some quests in Searing Gorge.
As far as the rocket from Eastern Plaguelands to Badlands, you have to complete the EP quests out to Light's Hope Chapel at minimum (the Stratholme arc can be skipped if so desired).

I don't think there's a door there anymore since Cata, I ran through the tunnel without doing any quests recently on an Alliance alt I'm leveling.
If you're trying to get to the Searing Gorge from Fuselight, you want to travel just +south+ of New Kargath.
There's a short stone tower with fire atop it south of New Kargath, when you pass by with this on your right side, you're getting close.
You'll see an opening in the cliff wall ahead, and the passage will be grey sand and stone, instead of the bright orange sand you've seen so far.
Following that grey passage will lead you into Searing Gorge.
Quest To Start Searing Gorge
Awesome thread necro.
Wonder if he's still riding around looking for it.

Nope - not locked anymore. If you're Alliance and talk to the dwarf guard where the gate used to be, she is completely clueless there's no gate there.
Dang got to 90 and gave up.
