Sound Playing Through Speakers Not Headphones Android

So I started up my computer and began to watch a video but the sound was playing through the speakers instead of my headset. I made sure that all the cables were plugged in correctly and I tried a different headset but had the same problem. I have been through a lot of threads but none of them helped. I tried to set my headphones as my default device but it already is my default device. One thing that I haven't tried is uninstalling my audio drivers but I'm kind of new to this so I don't really know how. Thanks.

Jun 20, 2019  Sound problem with using Headphones Windows 10. The sound plays fine through the speakers. The headphones work if not plugged into the computer. With the headphones plugged into the computer the sound is very soft and garbled to a point of not being able to understand what is said.

This is probably a question for /r/techsupport, but I figured I'd ask it here as well in case it's an issue specific to Minecraft.

If I start Minecraft with my headphones unplugged, then plug in my headphones, the sound will still play through the speakers. Music and all the other application I've tested play through the speakers as you would expect.

The only solution I've found is to restart the game with the headphones plugged in. It's pretty annoying, especially because sometimes I won't notice and I'll end up annoying people without realizing it.

Edit: Apparently I had my monitor set as the default audio device. Setting it to Realtek Audio Manager fixed it.
